Here are the top events that we recommend attending:
Women of Power Summit: This annual event, produced by Black Enterprise is a professional leadership conference designed especially for executive women of color. It brings together over 1,500 influential corporate professionals and businesswomen from across the country.
Essence Music Festival: An annual music festival which started in 1995 as a one-time event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Essence magazine, which primarily reports the latest news and accomplishments for and about Black women. It, however, has since become the nation's largest event for African-American culture and music.
BWe Next: Black Women's Expo: A weekend empowerment event focused on the lifestyle, beauty, entertainment & culture of Black women – where consumers can get glammed, pampered and enlightened. It is normally held annually in Detroit, Chicago, and Atlanta.
Black Women Talk Tech: The only annual tech conference created exclusively for and by Black women founders and their supporters. A conference built from the perspective of women of color, the goal is to showcase the brilliance of black women in tech, create a stage for our experiences, foster deep connections and create real funding opportunities.
At The Well Conferences: A leadership academy held at Princeton University that was created for young Black women out of a commitment to increase awareness of the essential tools needed to help them to become successful leaders. The annual program encourages young Black girls to live beyond their limitations, achieve beyond their dreams, and impact communities beyond their reach.
